Hi, I’m Crystal, Clinical Therapist
As the founder of Southeast Perinatal Counseling and Licensed Clinical Social Worker, my passion lies in supporting women through the emotional, physical, and identity shifts that accompany the perinatal period. I’m deeply committed to helping women feel seen, supported, and empowered as they navigate pregnancy, postpartum, and the many transitions that come with motherhood.
I know that reaching out for help—especially during a season that’s supposed to feel joyful—can feel heavy and uncertain. You don’t have to navigate this alone. Whether you’re grieving a loss, feeling disconnected from yourself, or struggling to find calm amid the demands of motherhood, my role is to walk beside you with care and understanding. Together, we’ll create space to process what you’re carrying, strengthen your sense of self, and move toward healing in a way that feels authentic and sustainable for you.
My specialized training in perinatal mental health includes advanced education through both the Seleni Institute and Postpartum Support International (PSI), with focused study on perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, grief, and perinatal loss. In addition, I have completed training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients process trauma and strengthen emotional resilience during and after the perinatal experience.
As a Certified Lactation Counselor and trained Doula, I bring an integrated approach that honors both the emotional and physical aspects of the perinatal journey. This combination allows me to support clients through a full spectrum of experiences—from preparation and birth to recovery and adjustment.
My clinical work centers on supporting women experiencing perinatal grief and loss, infertility, anxiety, and depression. I understand how these challenges can affect a woman’s sense of self, relationships, and connection to her body and identity. My goal is to create a therapeutic space where women can explore their emotions without judgment, find meaning in their experiences, and reconnect with a sense of strength, hope, and balance.
Taking the step to seek support is an act of courage. I’m honored to walk alongside you as you move toward healing, wholeness, and the version of motherhood that feels right for you.

Hi, I’m Keisha, Associate Therapist
I’m Keisha Freeman, a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) passionate about walking alongside people as they navigate life’s transitions, emotional challenges, and moments of rediscovery. My work centers on helping individuals find stability, healing, and purpose through a process that feels genuine, collaborative, and empowering.
Being part of Southeast Perinatal Counseling, a practice that specializes in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, allows me to support clients through some of life’s most meaningful—and often challenging—transitions. Whether you’re adjusting to pregnancy, postpartum changes, or finding your footing in a new season of identity and connection, my goal is to meet you where you are. Together, we’ll explore what balance and well-being look like for you, build tools that align with your values, and create space for healing and self-compassion along the way.
My clinical approach is holistic and person-centered. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Therapy, and trauma-informed care to meet clients where they are. Sessions are designed to be conversational and practical, with a focus on understanding patterns, developing emotional insight, and building tools that foster growth and balance.
I’ve worked with individuals from all walks of life experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, stress, and burnout, as well as those simply seeking a deeper sense of fulfillment and peace. My background in education, mental health, and advocacy allows me to support clients through both personal and professional challenges.
In our work together, you can expect a supportive and grounded space, one where you’re encouraged to explore freely, gain clarity, and create change that aligns with your values. My goal is to help you not just cope but truly thrive as you move toward the life and wellness you deserve.
